Dare to Swim in the World-Renowned Barracuda Lake!

Palawan is blessed with sights and natural beauty that made it home to some of the most breathtaking places in the Philippines. The province is a paradise sought after by local and international travelers that chases after adventure and natural beauty and you can find it here – in land and underwater.

Barracuda Lake in Coron is something you would think is somewhere in an exotic country. Below the surface of the lake are limestone rocks framing every corner of the waters. You can appreciate this by snorkeling or diving if you know how!

However, there is a careful reminder to visitors. Because the lake is 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater, that means you’ll be less buoyant and will have a hard time rising to the surface. If you plan to visit, take note of this little fact!
